I’ll just make sure we are all on the same page: The Los Angeles

Rams are winning the NFC West. After their game Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks Youth Dustin Hopkins Jersey , it’s all but penciled in. If the Rams were to go on a losing streak for the rest of the season, it would go down as maybe the worst collapse in NFL history.Since the 49ers seem to not know how to finish a game if their lives depended on it, they remain in last place. Go read the recaps if you want to know the details. I’m too burnt out to really care at this point. Los Angeles Rams/Seattle SeahawksThe Rams and Seahawks had a fun game on Sunday, one that came down to the final minutes with the predictable Seattle fourth quarter comebacks that seem to plague so many games with them getting beat. It wasn’t meant to be as the Rams won 36-31. The Rams managed to hold on and get out of there with a win, but there’s a cost: They have lost wide receiver Cooper Kupp for the season due to a torn ACL. The Rams will clinch the West with the combination of a win this week and a Seahawks loss. It would mark the earliest playoff clinching since the current format began in 2002. The Seahawks are 4-5, sitting a game and a half back of the second wild card berth.Arizona CardinalsThe Cardinals did their best to make a game out of their contest against the Kansas City Chiefs late in the game, but suffered a 26-14 loss. The only solace 49ers fans can take is that they played the Chiefs much better than the Cardinals did. The 49ers remain in last place, a half game back of the Cardinals. Of course, even if Arizona loses to Oakland this week, they’ll hold the head-to-head tiebreaker for divisional standing. This is of note for scheduling purposes, because the 49ers will face the NFC East and NFC North teams that finish in the same spot in the standings.Into Week 11The Rams will be playing the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday Night Football in a fun game played in Mexico City. Given that it’s a neutral field, this game is all sorts of interesting. The Rams are a half game up on the New Orleans Saints for best record in the NFC, but New Orleans has the head-to-head tiebreaker edge. The Chiefs are rolling through the AFC Rookie Nick Mullens Jersey , but the Los Angeles Chargers are not going away in the division. The Seahawks face the Green Bay Packers for the umpteenth time at Century Link Field. Given the loss of talent on both sides, this game won’t be near as interesting as years past. Though since the NFL loves to torture us, it will probably come down to some fourth quarter shenanigans. Meanwhile, the Cardinals face the Oakland Raiders in Arizona. We all know how that game will end. Even for a team as bad as the Cardinals.1st: Los Angeles Rams; Next: Kansas City Chiefs (In Mexico)2nd: Seattle Seahawks; Next: Green Bay Packers 3rd: Arizona Cardinals; Next: Oakland Raiders4th: San Francisco 49ers; Next: BYE The San Francisco 49ers were throttled in Week 7, losing 39-10 to the Los Angeles Rams in a game that was close for roughly the first quarter. The 49ers had some opportunities early to make the game interesting, but four turnovers cost them and they dropped to 1-6 with the loss. Each week, people are curious about Pro Football Focus grades from the game that passed. I am not a huge fan of the subjective aspects of the grading, but they are fun discussion points, and we can figure out some context around the grades. Each week, I’ll take a look at the top five and bottom five graded players on both sides of the ball.Offensive top 5LT Joe Staley: 88.7 overall, 89.6/84.1 pass/run blockTE George Kittle: 84.8 overall, 88.7 pass catching, 59.5 run blockingRB Alfred Morris: 70.8 overall Nick Mullens 49ers Jersey , 76.4 pass blockingRB Raheem Mostert: 67.1 overallRT Mike McGlinchey: 61.5 overall, 53.1/65.3 pass/run blockThe 49ers struggled in pass protection, but the tackles could have been a lot worse. In reality, it was a matter of Aaron Donald destroying the interior of the line with relative ease. Offensive line work is about teamwork, but there are still individual matchups to be won. As It’s not surprising then that you see all three interior linemen in the bottom five of the team’s Week 7 grades.Offensive bottom 5LG Laken Tomlinson: 39.4 overall, 40.8/40.7 pass/run blockTE Garrett Celek: 46.6 overallRG Mike Person: 49.5 overall, 72.6/40.7 pass/run blockQB C.J. Beathard: 50.6 overallC Weston Richburg: 52.1 overall, 37.0/55.5 pass/run blockC.J. Beathard was a mess when the Rams got pressure. He was under pressure on 17 of his 35 dropbacks, and was 2-of-9 for 21 yards, with one interception, seven sacks, and a passer rating of 0.0 when under pressure. The turnovers are problematic, but the pressure was intense all day long.Defensive top 5DE Arik Armstead: 82.0 overallDE Solomon Thomas: 77.0 overallSS Jaquiski Tartt: 72.6 overallDT DeForest Buckner: 72.3 overallDB D.J. Reed: 71.4 overallThe 49ers defensive front had been quietly putting together a solid season against the run. Malcolm Brown and Todd Gurley gashed them on Sunday Authentic George Kittle Jersey , combining for 128 yards on 28 carries. Arik Armstead, DeForest Buckner, and Solomon Thomas all stepped up fairly well against the run. The problem was the defensive reserves, and as we see below, the linebackers in particular.A highlight was another solid performance by rookie defensive back D.J. Reed. He played two snaps at cornerback after K’Waun Williams got hurt, and then took over at free safety after Adrian Colbert got hurt. He got some slot work last week against Green Bay and some significant free safety work in Weeks 3 and 4. He is quietly turning into a solid depth piece this year.Defensive bottom 5LB Fred Warner: 29.2 overallLB Reuben Foster 29.3 overallDE Cassius Marsh: 41.6 overallDL Ronald Blair: 45.0 overallCB Greg Mabin: 47.7 overallWe’ll have more on Foster in particular, but Sunday was atrocious for Foster and Warner. Both struggled to contain Gurley and Brown, and generally were in the wrong place at the wrong time too frequently. Add in Foster missing three tackles, and it was a poor performance all around for the two linebackers the 49ers are hoping to build the middle of their defense around.
